Local Farm Service Agency is Accepting Applications For Farmers Who Had Physical Losses During May 15 Storm

The Farm Service Agency in Sulphur Springs is now accepting applications for those who suffered severe physical losses due to high winds that occurred on May 15. Local farm loan manager Ellis Dicus asks farmers who want to apply for emergency loans to submit their applications as soon as possible. Dicus says if farmers wait too long, backlogs can develop that can cause delays. The Farm Service Agency office is located at 530 Hillcrest in Sulphur Springs. The deadline to apply for the emergency loans is February 26, 2009.
