A total of four people from the Metroplex have been formally charged with crimes in connection with a plan to defraud Sulphur Springs Wal-Mart. 33-year old Melissa Gail Breaux, 27-year old Richard Paul Breaux and 26-year old Michael Thorns, all of Grand Prairie, and 20-year Britni Jenny Ann Dewberry of Arlington were all charged with engaging in criminal activity and unlawfully using criminal instruments. Melissa Breaux was also charged with possession of a controlled substance. Bond on her was set at a total of $85,000 by JP Yvonne King. Bond on Richard Breaux, Michael Thorns and Britni Dewberry was set at $75,000. The case began when DPS Trooper David Reynolds made a traffic stop on a vehicle and found stolen items from Wal-Mart. The investigation then led to a local motel room where Trooper Reynolds and Texas Ranger John Vance discovered a computer system to manufacture Wal-Mart receipts and some methamphetamine ice. The four were arrested early Monday morning.
