County Official is Seeking Public Comments on Annual Clean Up Days : KSSTRadio.com

Hopkins County residents turned out in fewer numbers for this year’s County Clean Up Days last week and the county’s supervisor of the Environmental Department Jerry Pierce wants to know why. He is asking county residents to send him written comments on how the event could be better. Write Jerry Pierce at 105 Weaver Drive in Sulphur Springs, 75482. Still, four roll off containers in each precinct were filled and a whopping 2,600 tires were collected. Pierce says clean up days have resulted in less trash being dumped along roads and in creek beds.
