A dream came true for Lady Cats’ multi-sport athlete Kelsey Evans Thursday when she signed a letter of intent to play softball at Hardin Simmons in Abilene. Kelsey said she had dreamed of being a college athlete since she was a little girl. She said she liked Hardin Simmons due to its great softball team, its good physical therapy program and because it is a Christian school. At the signing, Lady Cats Coach David Carrillo called Kelsey a winner with good work habits. Also present were Kelsey’s parents, Doug and Sharla Evans.
