Suspected Hunt County Robbers Arrested in Hopkins County

Hopkins County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a couple at around midnight Thursday night shortly after a Hunt County gas station was robbed at knifepoint. The Campbell Gas Station at I-30 and Highway 50 reported they were robbed. Hunt County authorities broadcast that they were looking for a black male and black female in a red SUV. They also put out a partial license plate number for the vehicle. A few minutes later Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department Corporal Eddie Moon and deputy Aaron Hanna stopped the suspect vehicle along I-30. The suspects were arrested and were taken to the Hopkins County Jail where Hunt County authorities picked them up.
