Despite Dry October, Sulphur Springs Still Has Had More Than Normal Rainfall So Far in 2007 : KSSTRadio.com

It was a dry October for Sulphur Springs but our rainfall so far in 2007 remains ahead of normal. Our official rainfall for the first ten months is 40.71 inches; that’s 2.25 inches above normal. Normal October rainfall is 5.21 inches but we received only 1.84 inches of rain in October. Our average high was 79 degrees in October, right at normal. Our average low was 56, four degrees above the usual. Expect morning low temperatures in November about 10 degrees below October readings. Our first freeze is projected for around the middle of November.
