Lady Cats Volleyball Coach Hopes Increased Intensity Continues in Matches This Week

Despite a four game loss to North Lamar Friday at Lady Cats Gym, Lady Cats Coach Rachel Curtis was very pleased with her team’s effort and the intensity with which they played. That fire seemed to be missing last Tuesday in a road loss to Mt. Pleasant. Coach Curtis said on Wednesday she cancelled practice and had her team focus on what they needed to do to correct the situation. They mulled it over by themselves for an hour and a half. This week the Lady Cats host Lindale in the Auxiliary Gym while floor repairs are done on Lady Cats Gym. On Friday the Lady Cats travel to Texas High to begin the second half of district play.
