Sulphur Bluff Scholarship Dinner Takes Place Saturday Night

The 8th Annual Sulphur Bluff Scholarship Dinner takes place Saturday at 7 p.m. at the school. A.J.’s Fish House will cater the meal and Rhonda Neal will provide entertainment. There will also be a live and silent auction. Tickets are $15. Funds raised go to three different kinds of scholarships, ones for seniors, ones for alumni and 8th grade motivational scholarships for students facing obstacles. Jamie Harper, President of the Sulphur Bluff Scholarship Foundation, says each year 2-5 scholarships worth $5,000 to $10,000 are awarded. Harper discussed the scholarship dinner Friday morning on KSST’s Good Morning Show with Enola Gay.
