On site registration for fall classes at the Paris Junior College Sulphur Springs campus takes place August 16 but students can also register on-line right now. The web site address is www.parisjc.edu. Sulphur Springs’ campus Director Linda Bennett recommends on-line registration if a student feels comfortable with what courses they want to take. If a student is not sure, she says, they might want to visit with an advisor now at the Sulphur Springs Center to discuss their degree plan. Ms. Bennett adds students need to apply right away for financial aid for the fall with classes starting on August 27. PJC’s Sulphur Springs campus offers some grants and will again offer some loans this year. During the August 16 on-site registration, staffers from Paris will be in town to help with placement testing and financial aid questions. Ms. Bennett says the Sulphur Springs Center offers the same core curriculum courses that the main Paris campus does but will have fewer sections. Both day and night classes will be offered in Sulphur Springs.
