Hopkins Co. Commissioners Continue Budget Sessions This Week

Except for the July 4th holiday on Wednesday, the Hopkins County Commissioners Court will be having budget work sessions each day this week. Monday’s session is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and sessions on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday are set for 10 a.m. All sessions are planned for meeting room one located adjacent to the Commissioners Courtroom at the County Courthouse.
County Judge Cletis Millsap says the court has already met with all of the county’s elected officials. The judge expects that the Commissioners Court will take those requests and do some recalculations and refiguring. Judge Millsap says he wants to put together a budget that only asks for enough money to do the job.
